Workplace Assessments can be a valuable process where there are indicators of workplace or team dysfunction. This can include high absenteeism, uncharacteristic turnover or transfers, increased WorkCover claims and/or formal or informal complaints.
The purpose of a Workplace/Team Assessment is to;
- Identify issues related to the workplace
- Establish if any inappropriate or unlawful behaviour is taking place
- Identify the causes and sources of discontent
- Assess whether any health and well being risks exist
- Provide recommended strategies to address the outcomes
- Act as a catalyst to implement issue resolution processes where necessary
The Assessment is a confidential process which categorises issues and behaviours identified and is constructive in outcome. Formal statements are not taken and information does not identify individuals, affording all participants confidentiality. As part of the process, participants can also provide written submissions and material. The Assessment will also identify vicarious liability issues that may exist or potentially arise as a consequence. A report or presentation on the findings is provided to the organisation at the conclusion of the Assessment including recommendations if required.
WorkMatters tailors each Workplace Assessment to your organisation and the issues that have been raised.
